Hey guys, I've been looking to buy AC2 later when it comes out, but I really want that black edition, the only problem is, that I travel/format my computer a lot, and I end up leaving CDs n stuff behind on my travels, so I really rely on the convenience that is steam to play my games. But then that black edition is pretty eye catching, would any of you know if it's possible to register your AC2 retail game on steam after purchase?

if the game comes with a CD-key and is on steam generally you can enter the CD key into steam and it links with your steam account allowing you to digitally download the game.

so you would need to find out if ubi are going to put out a CD key with AC2 (they didn't with AC1) as that would allow you to register a hard copy with steam, I have done this with several games I already have from other firms as I don't like putting the disc's in to play.

You can only enter a CD-Key from a retail game and link it to your Steam account if it is on this list:
https://support.steampowered.c...7480-WUSF-3601#which (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-WUSF-3601#which)

But as you can see that list isn't very long and I doubt AC2 will be on it.
