with better sight of planes of course

id suggest the reading of this page:

http://clowder.net/hop/persp/persp.html

to know whats in the actual 3d system that doesnt allow for an aceptable 180º view that we all would like because would be with 6dof the maximum posible realism

In reality, we do not have a 180 field of view. Usable FOV is more like 120 degrees. Your periphial vision is never in focus.

heh,i was gonna make the exact same point.

another thing with the monitor and real vision is that you can only focus on one point, where as in the computer you would be able to focus on much more, which in itself is a contradition of why u want 180 views (as a sim)

But actually, for once raaaid has an idea I agree with. If they could do that, it would be great

A possibilty would be the sim could be ready for three monitors, and they would simulate your head's front quarter and two flanks

Monitors on the flanks would be out of focus slightly, could do that with graphics, and fad to gray at the far edges

Sure it's not really practical now, but it's not a bad idea
