Hi everyone.

I'am currently flying a Russian Fighter Campaign, i've been awarded with eight medals so far...BUT...two of them were given twice (Hero of the soviet Union..the one with the golden star if i correctly remember and the Red Banner Order) this doesn't make sense, why should i receive twice both medals ?

I checked the game files where the medals files are located and found the two missing ones, is there a bug with their names preventing them to be loaded... how can it be fixed ?

I would like to know wich are the specific events that allow you to win each medal has anyone such information ?

I'm tired of risking myself while trying to accomplish additional attacks on different targets (airfield, trains, transport columns, rabbits, elephants and anything that moves in the map i really swear it !)once my main objective has completed and getting nothing in exchange !

Good flight to you !

Nonsense, I verified the joints twice!: This was the answer given by chief Mechanic Klaus Stoeffel to Oberst Lotar Von Müllenbrock when he complained about some strange vibrations in the wings of his Me-262 during take off. This picture show that Oberst Von Müllenbrock's fears were in fact quite real.

Hero of the Soviet Union (HSU) was awarded twice, or even three times, to several pilots in the Soviet Union during and immediately after the war, often posthumously. Kozhedub and Pokryshkin got three each, while Safonov got two (the second posthumously.) Don't know about the Red Banner Order or other medals, but it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine those being awarded multiple times, too. Most military services have a system of devices to signify multiple awardings of a particular decoration (the U.S. uses stars or oak leaf clusters to denote multiple presentations of a particular decoration, for example.) Russia presented the full award, and recipients of two or three wore all of them together.

Blotto

"Only the spirit of attack, born in a brave heart, will bring success to any fighter craft, no matter how technically advanced." - A. Galland

"Look, do you want the jets, or would you rather I slap the props back on?" - W. Messerschmitt

Hi

So this is historically accurate but this weekend i was awarded with my third Golden Star or Hero of the Soviet Union (i don't remember the exact name) and the medals still doesn't show correctly. I have 9 medals and i can see only eight of them in my detailed pilot roster.

Do you have any information on the medal awarding system in FB?

Good flight to you !

I got the same bug once : 2 Hero of the soviet union and 2 red banner... 9 medals in total but the window can show up only 8 and in the campaigns listing it says i had 8 medals instead of 9. I hope they are going to fix it.

Are they reading that forum anyway?! cause i posted bugs not related to driver conflicts and i really don't know if they are going to fix details and rare bugs. Oleg didn't talk about bugs in the message about the patch. That's sad

Hi

Finnally someone with the same poblems ! So far i'm not sure about installing the patch, i'm really not interested in changing complicated stuff as for example Bf109E4 clim rate from 1000 m/minute to 1128 m/minute if you know what i mean. One Key issue will remain the track availability, maybe with the patch installed, our favorites tracks (and memories contained) won't be playable so the addition of newer planes and all the changes you detailed before won't worth the price.

So far i got more flyable planes than i can handle, i'm even starting to try quiting this addiction that takes at least 3 hours per day !

Good flight to you !
