Hello guys im back and want info on these two planes, want to hear your likes and dislikes of the two, pros and cons. Been flyin the k-4 and g-10 for a while online and want to know what your opinions are of the g6as(speed,turning,firepower,etc) throw it all at me. Iflew the g6as last night and she flew well online, what are your thoughts on it. k-4 good up high and g6as good down low i already know so add something i dont please.

Erm, iirc the DB 605/AS engine was meant to enhance high-altitude performance, not low altitude... The DB 605D (as fitted to the Kurfurst, again iirc) was an improvement of the /AS design.

Generally, the G-6/AS will be far more agile and lighter than the K-4. The K-4 climbs like a homesick angel and will outrun most props above 5-6000m. Go for the K-4 if you're confident enough in your ability to use the speed and climb well enough to never find yourself needing to out-turn somebody. If you ever find yourself in that situation in a K-4 then good luck, you're gonna need it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Lots of people prefer the G-6/AS because it's a good compromise between the manoeuvrability of the earlier Gustavs and Friedrichs and the brute power of the later G-10s and K-4s.

the G10 and AS are teh same in everyway... the 10 though is like 10 kph faster above 6k meters.. and the AS below that,,, here in FB I mean

another point is that the &/AS is the only late war 109 with a MG151/20 .
i wish maddox would also make a G14 with this nose weapon http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif as this was the "standart" fighter in late war LW

Not the same surely, G6AS is more nimble, G 10 faster in my experience. G6AS would be my choice, great balance of virtues, sufficient speed, good manouverability, firepower.

Well the plane we got (G-6AS) would rather be a G-14AS since the original G-6AS could not inject MW-50. The G-14AS could.

That`s not quite true, some G-6/AS were certainly fitted with MW 50, just not all were prepped for it, as was in the case of the G-14/AS.

nevertheless a 6/AS without MW50 would fit the Bf109 series in the game better. with better performance as the 6Late at higher alt, but lesser performance at lower alt.

109G6Late from late 43
109G6/AS without MW50 from early 44
109G14 from summer 44 (pls with MG151/20 as default)
109G10 late 44 (it realy needs a Droptank!)
109K4 late 44

i would not need this very seldom used late war 109s from 45
