This is a small part of the Pathe News film that has been tidied up a bit by myself. Its another WIP at the moment, as the Vulcan tribute movie was giving me a headache, so I decided to make it worse and start this at the same time... Doh!

Any Whoo, here it is so far, and the backing track is Johnny Cash rendition of the nine inch nails 'Hurt' But the finished version will have another... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

All four guys got into the one Whirlwind called "Bellows". Now thats what I call a clown wagon. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

That's the 'Bellows Argentina' fund that paid for several Whirlies which were marked accordingly. I'm sure you know that proportionately more Whirlwinds were paid for by public subscription than any other British WWII aeroplane. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

"Fellowship of the Bellows RAF squadrons
Aircraft purchased through groups of Fellowship of the Bellows went in particular to these squadrons:

No. 193 Squadron RAF
No. 263 Squadron RAF "

(yep, you guessed it - that's the two Whirly squadrons)

One was quite 'far down the line' at least externally along with lots of other stuff for FB, seems to have been long abandoned. We keep up our campaign of gentle persuasion.

As we have two Whirly threads at the moment, might I suggest all further Whirly enquiries and admiration is posted here to keep mods happy?
