I've noticed on some of the aircraft, like the 109 and the IL2, that at the bottom right of the screen you can see through the right wing. I guess this is something that has to do with the modelling method as others don't. I don't know much about the process of 3d modelling and would appreciate a "layman freindly" answer.

Yeah I guessed it was an inherent thing and wasn't bug reporting http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif. I just wondered if i could get a reason why they glitch and what changed in the way things were done so that other models don't exhibit this. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know for sure, but it seems that something in the texture is too close to the 'camera', to me. It looks to me like when you use a close up view on a plane, and your view goes "through" another aircraft- the textures just disappear because the 'camera' can't view them that close, it's behind your FOV

just my best guess

But then that would be a systematic bug that would be experienced in all models, it seems to be specific to certain models.

I'm not 100% sure but I think these were the first 3D models that were made many years ago, then at some point in the development process they decided to change the field of view and the old models were not in line with the new FOV.

Though not same country as mine, they're most likely same people. Glad we sorted that out. Couldn't agree more
See, we made it political anyhow http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
