Here's a little story Ladies and Gentlemen.

On Friday i woke up at 4.30am to go to work. My firm was doing removals work at Highbury stadium, clearing everything out and taking it to Asrenals new stadium round the corner, so you can imagine, it's a pretty huge job. I couldn't tell you how many crates, desks, shelves, chairs etc i moved from one end of Highbury to the other, but it was bloody hard work. The only plus was that i got to see the actual interior of Highbury for the first time (got sick of it by that night lol), i got to have a kick about on the pitch, pretty amazing to a lifetime Arsenal fan, and i also got to go into the Emirates stadium and see the ground properly for the first time. It really was like a dream. I managed to nick quite a bit of memorabilia from Highbury, including signed photos of the players and other cool bits. Anyway on with the story.

I worked from 7am until 12am. A 17 hour shift. I was fooked well and truly. So i got home and checked Google for the Saturday weather. My Google homepage was telling me Saturday would be rainy and cloudy, miles away from the 30c+ heat of that Friday. So knowing this, when i got a call in the morning from my removals company to work at Highbury again, i happily accepted, thinking that it would rain that day and i would be sent home, and make some easy money. Well, needless to say, i got there, and it was 25-30c again, all day. I ended up working a 12 hour shift in this heat, shifting gear all day again. My muscles have never hurt this much after a job. even the Geordies were tired, and that's saying something.

So the moral of the story is, don't trust Google. It's weather reposts suck. And never accept work thinking you will get easy money.

P.S. Removal work sucks unless your at Highbury http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Just pretend I'm not from Britain and want to know just where Arsenal got their name?

Also for bonus points, who won the FA Cup in 1952? (que Liberty Bell March)

something odd happened to me gogling the videoclip vuelve morenita by estefano

it would almost always appear the videoclip as the first search

but there was a couple of times when instead the first results were only porn pages i couldnt find the videoclip

those are the kind of things that get me paranoid to think things that a time war or something alike is going on, is like if i switched at times to parallel universes

Arsenal was originally formed from the workforce of the Woolwich Arsenal in South London.

They moved to North London later on.

That's all I know http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As Grue says, Arsenal were formed in Woolwich Arsenal, which was their original name. They moved to Highbury from Woolwich in 1913.

Newcastle won the FA cup in 1952 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Why not listen to the radio or the TV(you got no weather channel there?). Looking out the window helps as well.

Hard work builds character Dan but since you are already quite a character just consider hard work a bonus. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Unpredictable weather and hard work. Welcome to life. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Ive lost count of how many times ive consulted weather bug radar and saw nothing for 10 parsecs, then wind up in a monsoon on my moped going to town. I just take my poncho in a saddle bag and take my chances. this way ill be pleasantly surprised if it doesnt rain on me, and not be disapointed if it does.

And in America, the law firm of Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe would take your case in a heart beat. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

The heat's been nasty here. A couple of people have died on the west coast due to the humidity, which they're not used to, as I've heard. Where I work we're even having specially scheduled days, because it's just too hot for normal activities.

Just a reminder gentlemen.............

The Royal Woolwich Arsenal will be a primary target were coming your way soon http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif .................

As an ex Gooner and after using Woolwich on many occasions as my youthful stomping ground I can simply say what they did to the Royal Arsenal was appauling, my grandad discharged from the desert rats due to leg injury, served in the AFS stationed at Woolwich Arsenal so he saw some of the worst bombing london took at that time.

UK's gonna need "siesta" time soon LOL
