At this moment the bomb release from all hardpoints is mapped to only one key.
Is it possible to get a realistic representation of the bomb-selectors, i.e mapping to two buttons? (1 wing,1centerline)

for realitys sake of for Targets sake ?

Many times I fly the F8 & wish I could have droped my 250 pounder first on a large target & then save my smaller 50's for targeting AC later on

as it is now I am forced to drop 1 set of 50'S then the other & finaly the 250/500

this would be a cool feature

For realism sake. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

It doesnt take a historian or WW2 buff to see that as it is now there isnt much to select. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I suppose the easiest solution would be mapping to two buttons as in the IL-2 or P-47 for example to evade all kinds of new keymapping features.

You never know though what the Dev Team can come up with when they pick up on the issue and do something about it.

Nice idea.

Would really come in handy when they decide to finally add panzerblitz and other various armaments for the Fw190F that they left out.

Absolutely. And while they are at it they could take the opportunity to add in the selectors for the guns so that we can disable the wingroot cannons to fire just the cowl MGs, or disable the cowl MGs to just fire wingroot cannons.

One of the few important features missing in FB is the lack of a bomb selector button.Hopefully this would appear in the next addon.

For the thousandth time, MG's were not fired separately from the cannons on the A series planes.

As Fillmore said, the weapons could be deactivated, which should give the pilot the possibility to fire the cannons separately.

The ability to cycle individual pairs of hardpoints and guns is a must. I don't know who decided that the Ju-87 should drop all its bombs at once, but Oleg should fire him.

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.

It wasnt one of his team that suggested it. It was many many fighter jocks that had enough of us getting mutliple targets in the save dive-run /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

i also would like to see a mre "mudmoover stylish" AI routine for the F8 and A-X/U3.
like the IL-2 behavior- main duty in ground attack not releasing bombs if they see fighters and going fighting /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

ans NOT releasing ALL bombs on one lousy truck !
