Hi everybody,

my son has recently bought "Pacific Fighters" and cannot find a manual, although it is several times being mentioned. The only thing looking at least a little like a manual is a .pdf-file with some special "tricks". But as my son has never had a game like this before, he needs some real basic information, like e.g. how to start a plane or how to drop bombs etc.

Any help welcome! Thank you.

It installs itself into the start menu folder. Check your PF folder and look for the PDF files. One should be a Control Quick Reference Guide that you can print out and keep handy by the keyboard. One thing to mention is that a considerable number of commands have to be set by the user (they are called "User Defined Keys") and you should take the time to set all of them up before you start playing. You dont have to set all of them but you should take a look through and use common sense to set the keys that would make sense to set.

Hope this helps!

You already know about the game folder manual, also the in-game training tracks,("training" main menu) are very helpfull,

also you and your son may enjoy reading some on-line tips, guides, and manuals...enjoy

Thank you very much so far!
I'll try to work with the information, you've posted here. You'll here from me then...
My son is 10 years old and I don't fly. (But as a 10 year old boy, I always wanted to, as my uncle was my idol, as he had been a Luftwaffe-fighter-trainer in WWII.)
