The Saitek pedals I ordered are due in a few days and I don't feel like making mistakes installing them with my current setup. Currently I'm using a MSFF2 stick for my #1 device (controls alerions, elevators and rudder along with gear and brakes), a x-45 as device #2 for elevator trim and flaps and certain views along with a trak ir 4 for all views.
Now when I add the saitek pedals to control the rudder and brakes, how should I install it assuming that it becomes device #3?
Thanks in advance to any who respond.

unfortunately stick id is a bit of a lottery in xp, and when you install the pedals they may, for instance, become id#1 shifting stick to id#2 etc.
you should be able to set the msff2 to id#1 by going to.. control panel>game controllers>advanced-set msff2 as preferred device.check/calibrate all controllers while you are there.

backup your users folder in fb.

hopefully then you can assign your rudder in the ingame hotas controls section(kick right pedal http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif ) , and if necessary reassign axes/ buttons on x45 if this has become id#3.

any probs with 'curves' for your controllers i recomend using ether il2sticks or il2joycontrol

I dont think you will have any problems. I have an X-52, CH pedals, Saitek game pad, and a MS Sidewinder Precision 2 all installed and running fine in XP.

I have the exact same setup only with TIR 2... you shouldn't have any problems at all.
