View Full Version : Adressing Mission Makers on servers...

When you make missions to your online servers, could you please include the year when it takes place in the file name? For us who prefers a certain period (early or late) it is a great help when we choose what server we want to join, well for us who uses All Seeing Eye anyway, which is a huge bunch. In ASE we can see the name of the mission playing...

File names like "Italy_43.mis" or "Winterwar_39.mis" are so much more informative for us than "A-no-vacation-winter-il2sc.mis

fully agreed (and complied to already), but maybe this request would be more useful if you make it in the respective servers' fora as well

On the Winds of War server, the place and time of the mission are always stated. I also put in the netmessage the mission that is now running. I do this just in case there is a problem with a new map. I can go into the chatlog and see any complaints about a particular mission.
