View Full Version : I cannot save my game

I got my copy of AC bro yesterday,and play for a while. When I want to continue with the game today, I found that, there is no saved games, I have to start with a new session. After I exit the application, I found that, unlike AC2, the Ubisoft Game Launcher has already been closed, so it means that my saved games was not synchronized to the ubisoft cloud sever or was it?
Another thing is that when I play multi-online, I have to do the training session again,all the time.
I have also unlock the Hellequin, but when I log on to the multi game, I still cannot use it. It will ask me to unlock on Uplay, which I already had.

I have that problem too.yesterday I registered my game on ACB webside and it probably saved but today it isn't saveing

We need help bad! I cant play single player because it's lame doing it allover again evry single time. It' frustrating but multiplayer makes that up. MP is EPIC!

I solved my problem! It was ASCII problem.
I had ? in my username for Windows 7 and ACB didn't recognized it. So if you have strange simbols or other not english characters in your username you will have to make new useraccaunt for Windows because just renameing will not do the trick1

I'm sorry guys if my English is bad i'm from Slovenia!

Seduschkin no I ment windows user account that you use to login to your windows 7, vista or XP.
There is a problem with non ASCII characters in your username for example: ž,?,?,? an those characters.

Because if you have any hungaryan characters in your username for windows there could be the problem!

Example: ? or some of your characters.

(Mert ha bármilyen magyar karakterek meg felhasználónevét ablakok ott lehet a probléma! Példa: ? vagy néhány karaktert.)

O ok because I had a problem with '?'. I fixed my problem by creating new Windows user named ACB.

Sounds like AC:B does not like multi byte characters.

This bug is caused by your Windows username. Try running the game in administrator mode (set all exe files to admin mode (AssassinsCreedBrotherhood.exe, ACBMP.exe, ACBSP.exe) or try creating a new user account without any regional characters, for example "User".

I solved my save game problemS (win 7 x64):

<LI>administrator rights / tun as administrator (I heve tham, but it is functional on common user too)[UAC disabled]

my save game system folder was set at D:\
I changed it to default C:\Users\<user>\Saved Games and its working

Repairing is posible in explorer or in registry:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]
{4C5C32FF-BB9D-43B0-B5B4-2D72E54EAAA4}=C:\Users\< <span class="ev_code_RED">your username</span>>\Saved Games [/list]

One month before my game was saving my progress without problem...but now i pass a mission and when i try to load a game it loads in an other mission that i have passed before http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

The development team are looking at the problem, so please bear with them.

This relates to ACB in non English windows environments.

If people are having issues with AC2 - please contact support.

Hi, I have the same problem and dont want to create another user account. The trick with running the game with administrator rights doesnt work. When will this be solved?
Btw I have Windows 7 64bit and my user account has "š" in it...

And if the any Ubisoft guy is reading this it would help if game luncher would have multibyte character encoding instead of ASCII.

Hi. I also can't save my game even if I play as administrator (Vista). I am from Poland but my Windows username have only "normal" characters. Hope that Ubi will fix this problem ASAP http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Just try to make new profile named ACB or something, give him administrator wrights and try then! You can always delet it later.

I hope you're honest with us mr. Shade.
I really respect Ubisoft's team for making such a great games but I just can't stand those endless troubles with them. There's always some server errors, always some disappearing saves, always something. Please, don't keep us waiting Ubi.
