I just bought this - http://www.dwvac.com/ - Voice Activated Software for ALL you action programs. It is BRILLIANT!

I have no financial interest at all with the software's author - I just think it's so good!

I can't believe what a difference it makes - & for only 5!!!!!!!!!

Rather than press the TAB key then a series of numbers to give orders to your wingman, flight or squadron, you just say it. for example "Red flight line abreast" or "Ground control, vector to base".

I just happened across a review on Mission4Today (In the software review section, here

If you've got a reasonable quality headset & a fiver to spare (You can download it & evaluate it for 30 days FREE), GET ONE OF THESE - NOW.

I just don't understand why this amazing value add-on hasn't caused a huge stir in gamers forum.

Seems like a fabulous idea just cant get the darn thing to work....On Vista which never helps I suppose....Ive followed the instructions as clearly as possible

Name Profile

Locate program .exe

Assign a Command

Assign a Key

Assign a Voice Phrase

Dont know whats wrong ....Does the order you do these in matter???

I used & then modified **** Dastardley's profile which is on the VAC website.

One thing I did find was to download the full VAC application not forgetting that you have to train it & not the Microsoft VAC package. Test your mic levels in FB too, in the sound section.

I used a VAC program for a bit, but got rid of it because it caused a slight stutter in the game. It is also very difficult to use when playing online. You can't talk to your mates AND use VAC to tell my computer what to do at the same time.

actually you can. you just have to assign some keys.

when comms key is depressed, it stops the VAC from working, and when you release the key, comms are off, and VAC is back up.

i am not sure what program was used, but i heard/read others doing this a year or two ago.

maybe they can chime in to which proggy they were using.

Use VAC itself... If you assign the same key as your comms to toggle VAC off you can talk on comms and not worry abpout VAC. VAC is a great program made by our very own Shift_E..

Yes and Shift_E gives the best support in town. He also made it to work in Vista 32 or 64 bit. Now that is support.

I use VAC as it's a brilliant program that I find i can't fly without.

Multi engine bombers is just one of the type of aircraft that is enhanced by using it.

I've been using it since the release of it. A+++

Works fine aslong as you have a button for it, and a seperate button for Comms.

If your trying to voice activate VAC/Comms, your looking for trouble, at the very least annoying your fellow Comms users with your breath/beltch/ole lady eating at ya, etc. or open mic.
