View Full Version : Possible Flight Sim Terrains

With Bob coming out in Dec 2007 maybe some new terrain graphics like these will find their way in.

Not that these would be in a flight sim but some great detail:

"The best fighters I met in combat were the American P-51 Mustang and Russian Yak-9U. Both of those types obviously exceeded all Bf109 variants in performance, including the 'K'. The Mustang was unmatched in altitude performance, while the Yak-9U was champion in rate of climb and maneuverability."

They look great and all but to run scenes like that in a sim world the machine required to do so wont be built for a decade.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Some of the pictures look decidely unhomely, more Martian rally. We have the Goha and soon will have the Lerche, so I can envison some Flash Gordaon style missions.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Breeze, just be you. The only posting guidelines you have to follow are the forum rules set by <b style="color:black;background-color:#a0ffff">UBI[/b], not by the population.

Jeez Breeze, if you can't take a bit of criticism. I don't dislike you, or rather i didn't until about 25 minutes ago, and if you remember I actually once posted a fairly supportive response when you were having a hard time a few months ago. But as far as I could tell you were spamming a thread, and it did annoy me and that's why I told you to piss off. Maybe I got it wrong and I did come on a little strong. I apologised and your response to my apology was to tell me to pound sand up my arse. Well maybe I was asking for it. What can I say? Don't take it too seriously. Anyway, I liked the story about the mental Australian and the fosters.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Your post on the Concorde thread appeared little more than a cheap bit of snide cynicism on a generally upbeat thread, and you got pulled up for it.

Even if you didn't mean it like that, big deal, it happens in most every thread, most every day, and will be forgotten by the time that thread is on page 2!

I can't remember the earlier thread to which you refer; but I'm sure no-one bares any sort of grudge!
