I'm almost a newb to this forum, so I don't know exactly where should we post bugs...
Using last 1.2b patch

A wish: In object wiew menu, there should be also written the amount of ammo for each weapon on aircraft... It's a very important data. For instance, Yak9 and Lagg3 1943 carry same armament: one 20mm Shvak and one ubs, but yak has 120 shells and 150 bullets, but Lagg has 200 shells and 375 bullets (if I'm correct). That's almost twice as much ammo...

Bugs:

1. Guns don't jam. This should be fixed, especialy the weapons with high rof. Of course it should be just an option in a difficulty menu.

2. In a difficulty menu we should be able to turn off the deceleration of time. The 2x, 4x and 8x time compression should stay (for long boring cruising), but 1/2x and 1/4x time should not be possible if option selected.

3. When playing a fighter campaign for LW, on some airfields AI pilots carrying 250kg bomb cannot take off without hitting the nearby forrest and killing themselves... It's a pitty - you are playing for 2 years, you have a heck of experienced pilots with high ranks and a lot of kills, but you loose them in such a stupid way... You simply cannot countinue the campaign without loosing 2 or 4 pilots at the begining of the mission because of this.

4. Weapons shouldn't be fired for too long (ie a few seconds). If you press the trigger and hold it, you just discharge all ammo, but irl barrel would reheat and terminally melt...

5. In object wiew menu, there is wrong armament listed for Bf110G. It is 2xMK103 (or 108) + 2xMK151.

6. DM for FW wings is obviously wrong.

7. P47s roll rate is wrong.

Not a bug but a feature. Modelling jams would be rather complex I imagine. You need data for stoppage rates, conditions that lead to jams, the influence of ambient temperature, length of current burst, previous weapon temperature, ammo type.... now my head hurts /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Maybe for BoB?

Why? you just don't use time compression if you do not like it. Not available online anyway.

If you are going to stand even a 1% chance of getting OM's attention on 6 & 7 you are going to have to back your claim up with some hard data /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

First of all we released after 1.1b the v1.11.
And on the next week will be 1.21 version.

One German ace said something like this: from my 200 kills I had just one time jammed weapon /i/smilies/16x16_robot-happy.gif I would be my 201 kill...

For what? I understand it for Online, but for single play?

On the ground it is really may happens in reality for some weapon (not in a sim). But not in the air in the movement. Or you can name me exact weapon that was overheated in flight, but not "overcolded"?

Are you sure? What there should be?

Look for 1.11 and then 1.21.
Make the test with different speeds then compare with NACA trial for 50 Lbs force on the stick.

Well, just a simple "a:=real; a:=random(0,1); if a>0.998 then jam" loop at every bullet fired would add to realism IMHO...

Sorry, I cannot provide accurate data, but it happened on the northern coast of gulf of finland (airfield not far from the sea), I played german fighter campaign (leningrad), January 1943, just recieved FW190A5 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif, and from that airfield we regulary had to bomb small russian islands in the finnish gulf... I hope this helps.

Sorry, my mistake. But wasn't the armament of Bf110G(!) before 1.2RC patch, different?

Well, some FW190s carried 3x20mm or 1x30mm+1x20mm cannons in the wings. If the wings were really that weak (Sometimes you can rip a wing apart with only 2 hits from UBS, haven't try with only one...), they would never be able to sustain the recoil and vibrations when firing their own weapons...
