anybody knows of a good non violent multiplayer game?.
Im getting fed up of blowing heads and riddleling peoples bodys with bullets.
F1 2002 is a pretty good game for this but the problem is that theres too few people playing it.
Anybody knows of a non shooter multiplayer game with as many people as possible playing it.
thanks

NASCAR Season 2003! Blasts! But is violent in language there if you go inside or outside and you don't announce. Also if you break at start , is fun! The best atmosphere an online game can have. And is not quite violent. If this is not goood , then try simcity /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

i feel there could be a lock coming... however...

it does involve a bit of shooting but dressed up nicely - one of the best non-violent multiplayers i have played is mario-kart (or was it super mario-kart?) i normally hate nintendo type cartoony stuff but this game rules - especially in death match mode (ermm still sounds a bit violent doesn't it /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif ) although it may be a bit dated nowadays

i used to love lemmings too - not too violent - but a bit dated also and only two players aswell

I'm sure there are some excellent Fishing simulators out there /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif Also what about that MS train sim also.

Just visit one of the many online casinos... stay away from slots though. I agree that the fishing sim is the best suggestion so far.

Hmmm, if you have il-2 fb check out il2airracing.com. We have offical races Friday evening, and Saturday afternoon. Practice sessions are throughout the week. For the most part we don't use guns, altough some races guns are hot.

Available for both Linux and Windows, and they interoperate well. Great fun at work.

Hmmm....good point what about a Bird watching sim? That would be cool. you could have online stats of what birds you have spotted. Of course there would be many whinners about the FM also /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

DKP !!!!! Now u chock me! Dont u know how many ppl get themselves "killed" every year on the roads? ( when they go birdwatching ).

Thats pretty violent too......

Didnt u know that scientists have always considered birds
"overmodeled" they also said "heavier than air flight" was impossible....and didnt consider the birds cince they were overmodeled.

What about a tree sim ? They kind of grow slowly....

The classics, THE SIMS, SIM CITY, also may want to try TRAINZ, I enjoyed a trial version a couple of years ago.

I think people would use the padlock radar exploit on the birds. Also you would get people just spotting 'noob' sparrows and racking up their count.

Catching fish does not necersarily mean killing them, here in England the majority of fishing is coarse fishing, with a much smaller following for game fishing. Coarse fishing involves catching them, weighing the good ones take a picture maybe and return the fish to the water.

Game fishing as you can imagine is all about trout and salmon and they are kept and killed for food.

Non-violent game? why oh why would u wanna do that?

hehe :-)

You would have to go "full real" in a bird watchers sim. Though I wonder if the view obstruction by the frame of a certain set of binoculars would cause an uproar or how about the roll of focus on others. In the end even that sim would get dirty...and the vultchers oh my.

Race sims are your best bet. All the competition you can ask for. Either NR2003 or Grand Prix Legends are the best.

.. so can you play fishing sims online?

if so.. how does that work.. someone play the fish? and someone try to catch them?

I think I'd play a freshwater trout.. good spec, and handy for beginners.. not 100% comitted yet tho.. cos I hear they might be overmodelled http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I had a friend who had a friend who was really into some massive multiplayer fantasy game. Apparently he would spend whole evenings fishing to build up his fishing Skill Points.

Electronic daytrading of stock index futures. No blood and gore whatsoever. This is the most challenging muliplayer "game" of them all, and by far the most rewarding.

I want a stamp collecting sim, and I know there is a train driving sim (boring), but what about a train spotting sim!
Now that would be a blast. Maybe an add-on for MS train?

You could get Rise of Nations. It doesnt have much violence, but of course, its still there if you get bored. Same with Civ3.
