They're both the same thing. Get the gaming (GX) version.

Not really, but I have mine mounted on a 1 x 2" piece of wood which extends from an overhead shelf and also brings the trackir sensor about 8" closer to my head..I get great reception this way!!

BTW, trackir rocks!! I've been very happy with mine for about six months now..

I ragged Track IR because I did not understand it. Now dont make the same mistake I did. Get the new software(2.11) as soon as you get the TIR. This thing rocks.

Go get it!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the feller with the flat screen Im sure with some inginuity you can make a bracket or set it off to the side or right in from of you at the bottom of your screen. If you will look at the words track ir fix below my sig you will get my set up and a track to see it in use. I can set my sensor anywhere and make it work. I'd go on but its all on that link go read and enjoy it when you get it.

How does it react if you are not sitting in the same position as you were yesterday, or is there a quick calibration button somewhere? (I have these things called kids. Don't know if you've heard of them or not, but for some reason, they can't stay away from gaming station chair, etc.)

How far left/right are you turning your head, and how sensitive is it?

Is there a centering button somewhere as well, or is it a key stroke that I can program into sticks?

I'm sure there will be more questions to come as I think of them, so plz bear with me...
