Gotta love Linda /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Do you happen to know if these drivers include FS2004 enhanced support? I've gotta get over there and read but I didn't want to upgrade and lose the Linda Blair view for FB /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Dex,

This is OT, but your sort of talking about FS2004. I ordered it, and even got a CH Yoke for it. It's for when iwant to fly, but not shoot at stuff.

To prepare for it. I reinstalled FS2002. I turned the FM to as realistic as possible in the game. I also turn every graphic option to max.

What a disappointment. It seems so arcade, and looks like crap. What am I missing here? I don't see anything about improved FM's in 2004. Don't you think it's kind of lame compared to FB? I can't get the Extra 300 to do a simple loop. It just hangs in the verticle until it stalls. I can fly a 727 inverted. Is this possible in RL? It just didn't seem to be close to real flight. What is the big deal with this game? Is there a more accurate game with better FM's?

Shoot...I was thinking of getting this next week when it comes out. The weather effects look amazing, but I was hoping the FM would be as realistic as FB - is this not the case? (Anyone who knows...)

Buzz, I don't know about the FMs in FS2002/4 but
there's so much more to that sim than the FM,
crazy as that sounds. I usually fly the Beechcraft
Barons or the Cessna 172, and I really immerse myself
in the other sim functionality including VORs, nav, ATC, weather situations etc etc.

Check out AVSIM.COM and find some of the top rated
(or largest sized) downloads. The Baron Super 18
(I think the name is) is pretty cool.

This screenie is of the Baron Super 18 and that
mountain straight ahead is in my way of a "normal"
approach. Try this takeoff and approach (land from
the hard side). It's "Ranger Creek Airport", or symbol "21W" in Washington. I haven't made it once
yet in a dual prop plane.

Also, to read a series of reviews about FS2004,
look here. There's 5 in all.

This was a few minutes earlier when I was figuring out how to make my approach /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Now only if FB had world maps that we can do freeflights in, refueling on runways

Or having the next map loadup when you reach the end of the map kinda like gta3 and 4

view limiting option (registry: "ViewLimiting" 1=normal, 2/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif pen)

You need to go into your registery (START BAR / RUN and enter REGEDIT).

Go to the follow directory in your registery....

Current User - Software - NaturalPoint - NaturalPoint - V2.11GX

In that area, look for the key ViewLimiting.

Right click it and choose MODIFY. Set the value to 2 and make sure HEX is clicked.

Exit your registry and fire it up. Should work like a champ.
