I just noticed this....if so then it's not that hard to accumulate 30,000 renown for type XXI.

Btw how effective is the anti sonar coating? and what the engine upgrade do? faster recharging time?

How do you get that impression?

Renown will always be: (renown earned)*(0.25+(0,075*realism))

Then my mistake i forgot how much renown i had from the previous patrols..i thought i had used them up. Then after the last i got in total 9000+ (1300 renown per patrol from last one 8th patrol). so i thought 1300 X 8=9000+.

My mistake...

It's still calculated by the formula I mentioned above.

If you haven't sunk that many ships then I'd say that you are experiencing a bug. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Every ship you sink and every aircraft you destroy has a set renown value. A C3 cargo, for example, is 240 renown. If the ship is Allied, you get that amount. If the ship is neutral, you LOSE that amount. You are awarded 500 renown if you make it to your assigned patrol grid, 200 if you complete 24 hours patrolling that grid, and 100 renown if you sail back to your home port and end the patrol via the DOCK AT: YOURHOMEPORTNAMEHERE option instead of just ending it out mid-ocean. Add up the total of the renown base you were awarded, multiply that by the calculated factor, and that's how much you get.
