Well it is done very good, thats why they survived the blast. HAHAHAHAA

Is it a US comercial???? i like to see the whole comercial, wonder how they advertise the truck,

Dam we dont have such comercials here, only the diapers for the lady's, kids and old folks, followed by the usual nagging bout soap, loaning cheap money, lol when you see the comercials here, it realy turns you into a Neanderthaler, you wanna beat someone up, http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Is that real?

It's a commercial for the Toyota Tacoma pick up truck. It's a pretty funny series of commercials. One has the disgruntled girlfriend pushing it off a beachfront cliff, and it falls about 200 feet, rolling and boucing, and alighting on its wheels unscathed.

Anything like this is impossible to happen IRL. In order for an object to penetrate earth atmosphere, it has to be large enough. If it is not, it burns (due to extremely high speeds when falling and consequently enormous air friction) down before reaching surface.

Anything that would be capable of penetrating earth atmosphere and crashing into the ground, would not only annihilate (vapourise if you want) everything in a few tens mile radius, but also getting so much dust into atmosphere that all nearby life would be endangered due to lack of sunshine.

Just to add a little for Dan, when you see a "falling star", the actual object is extremely small, sometimes the size of a grain of sand.

Like TT said, if that had been real, there would be no footage or even witnesses left. Everything within a few km would be history.

hey meteors make it throught the atmosphere all the time
i remember seeing a show the other day where it told about meteors and in the 80's i think some lady in united states got her car smased by a meteor about the size of a computer tower it weighed a few hundred pounds and there were many other stories as well

03-04-2006, 01:07 PM
Modern meteors yes, the old ones no!! they are all scraped or in musea. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif (god i love this smiley)

What Fritz says is true. We all live on the knife edge of doom and at anymoment our homes, our lives, our nations could be vapourised by mountains falling from the sky. You need to be affraid, you need to be very affraid.

what happen's in that clip would produce a huge explosion

im afraid im very afraid ...
im off to go curl up in a ball and cry

Run through the streets screaming. It won't help, but it'll upset the neighbours.

Run through the streets screaming
I strongly advise ripping your clothes off first. It's much more authentic.

I double plus strongly advise all members to do this if they are attractive young females. Ladies, your panic stricken nation needs you.

i second that notion http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
