wondering elsewere?
About the torpedo roll and/or supporting the carrier-based planes with land-based attackers, long-ranged multi-engined bombers?
They did it again in early 44' when the Ki-67 (Peggy) came on scene in the Phillipine Sea as a torpedo bomber piloted by JAAF but under the direction of the JNAF.
Oh!!!! and a reminder to Oleg that the Betty G4M1 and 2 was easier to "render usless" than the A6M with a burst of .50 cals.
