Well, I couldn't bring that much stuff with me to college. I'd have liked to bring more, but some of my stuff is a bit too valuable to me to take out of the safety of my room back in Jersey, so I've got my teensy collection here that tells people a bit about what I do.

That electric pencil sharpner was standard equipment in TB-3_Late.

ive got no photos but all I have is

a 3 inch drill morter round,
some 40mm bofors cases (My grandad was an gunner but was on the ship over when the war ended)
a 20mm shell i havnt had identified (maybe somehere can help)
a 20mm shell from a skyhawk,
a Kukri (not a war time one but I like it)
and some bits from my time in the army including a spare styer magazine.

One day I hope to have my great grandfathers discharge papers from when he was wounded in the Somme in August 1916, and my grandads bayonet.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gifh009291. That is impressive.

Heres mine.

http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m203/ChickenHawk_2006/militaria.jpg

Along the top is a load of Luftwaffe instreuments, then some shell casings including a piece of WW1 trench art made by a great uncle.
The WW1 Family medal collection, including two death plaques for relatives who both died in the Somme. All the medals have been researched and Ive got about 60pages of documentation about the men who earned them.
At the bottom is a row of envelopes. These are from some sweetheart to her man out in RAF 656sqdn SEA. She is such a nag, and doesnt seem to realise he's fighting a war, just goes on and on about getting her some nice silks, and not copulating with the local women. Quite funny really. She even describes what she wore on her wedding night! Now thats what I call militaria collecting! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
