Hi chaps, thought i'd introduce myself in preperation for all the help i will be requesting in the upcoming days/months/years.

I just got PF a few days ago (been lurking since then) and got my 1st couple of kills today on a RN campaign. Didn't make it back alive to the carrier but man, what a rush when i got them!

I have FB and Ace expansion coming next week as well. In preperation i thought i would sound out the possibility of any squadron willing to take on a complete newbie and teach him the ropes.

I'm based in the UK if that makes any difference.

Anyway, nice to make all your aquaintance.

Meurig

We have at least 10 UK based pilots flying with the rest scattered over Europe and USA.

There are fighter and bomber wings.

Just click on my badge to see the world, meet fascinating people from interesting cultures and drop ptab on their heads.

And Don't miss the Pravda page 3s

Hi Meurig, wellcome!

You might want to check the squadrons forum for recruitment.

Hi,

And Welcome!

For Squadron info, have a look at the Squadron Forum (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=frm&s=400102&f=48310655) plenty of 'm to choose from!

As yer introducing yerself, do it in a proper way, and have a look at (and then post at) the Who we are ... (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/114103926) thread in the General Discussion Forum (http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/groupee/forums?a=frm&s=400102&f=23110283), and if yer not shy, have a look (and post yer picture) at the Don't Be Shy. What Do You Look Like? (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/2101020713) thread in there!

Ah, congrats on them 1st kills!

There's also a sticky thread called 'Practice tips for newcomers' but as an exercise for you, I won't post that link, try and find it yerself!

Have Fun!

Ahh yes, the typical newbie mistake of posting the right message in the wrong forum. Years of forum use and i can still manage that one!

Anywhoo, i have indeed already found a most informative newbie helping post which at least means i don't crash on every landing... just most of em http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Cheers for the quick responses chaps. Its appreciated.
