The problem (bug) is when playing online. Many times happen when i crush with other plane (last time rata) my plane loose some parts (wing f.e.) and the other stay alive. I know that's all about netlag... but the hell not with ping around 30ms!!!! I don't know is that going on russians planes, since i don't fly them, but i quiet sure mostly when u hit other plane in 109 u will die, and the other stays alive.
And the last thing that makes me s... is when u hit with the other plane the other plane get kill counted. No sense at all. I understand that it happends in war that f.e. hurri hit something in BoB becouse he god no ammo... but this is **** here.
And the last thing... why kill is not counted when pilot bails from a plane, but only when plane hits ground. I know it's realistic, but this is only arcade/tactical/flying shooter with some elements of physics and i don't understand why the hell we should help kill stealers.

Well, it happens mostly when YOU hit THE OTHER plane and not vice-versa http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. (Stop ramming)

No it is not. It is the most realistic sim on the market with most advanced physics in regard of flight models, damage models, weapons. Unfortunately (well, because of money - devs have to survive) it has cockpit turn off, external views etc... options, which enable that people also try to use it as arcade/tactical/flying shooter with some elements of physics.

This sim is a Word War II aerial fighting museum, not 1st person shooter.

ble ble ble ble... i wish real planes behaves like this (maybe without spin). About the spin, the entrance to the spin doesn't looks like real spin, and the exit from the spin same.
I know that most pilots from US told that they feel like flying real plane... but can u thrust pilots from caountry where spin is DENGEROUS!!! and they don't practise it in air schools?!
Sorry, but i still think that i'll never going to see something like simulator on PC in my life, and FB is arcade/tactical/flying shooter with elements of physics implemented.
And pls don't tell me about FM - how many hours do u got???

Right now 386:

252 on Cessna172 and 182
134 on Zlin242 and 143
will try to pass licence for Su26/29/31 this autumn.

How many do you?

u must be joking me or live on other planet.
i got 100h on gliders
Tell last thing, why did u waste so many hours on 172 and 182, those planes can fly w/o pilot http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

At least he flew a real plane, unlike you and your glider.

are you saying you spin a glider?

demonstrating a spin is required for flight instructor applicants if the plane is approved for spins.
just because spins are not a required maneuver for issuance of a private pilot certificate does not mean that spins are not demonstrated or performed during their training.

Hmmmmmmm ... one might also wonder why one would waste 100 hrs flying gliders. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Do you have any idea how hard it is to fly a glider? You try staying up in the air for 7 hours at a time without an engine in your "real plane".

Because I made pretty cool money for flying averagely one hour a day http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
(plus, of course, stockpiled hours)

I answered your question, now you tell me last thing pls: Well, what do you think, who spinned more times, you in gliders or me in Zlins?

Ah, and almost forgot, 388 today http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif!

A "real plane" is not really build for gliding without propulsion for long periods.

But since we are comparing, you try and take off in your glider without the help of a "real plane" or a catapult. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I must say that it rather funny to see a guy talk about spins as some kind of expert while only having 100 hours in a glider.

my favorite online glitch is........you catch a guy hanging on his prop down to zero kph and you pop him so hard he blows up and everybody on voice coms has a good laugh about it. 100 meters after I pass the guy I then blow up and the other guy and his buddies on voice coms have a good laugh :O

You sort of missed my point. As I'm sure you know, gliders require much more skill and airmanship than a powered aircraft does in practically all phases of flight. Everything from take off, to climbing, to descending, to performing simple turns, to landing. My point being is that people dismiss gliders right away just because they don't have an engine. From my experience, it takes a lot more skill and balls to do aerobatics (such as spins) or even to conduct regular flight in gliders than it is in planes. An excellent glider pilot will always have my respect. And that's coming from an airplane pilot.

FB is pretty good for the cost of a good night down the pub and a curry.

And everyone knows the most annoying bug is where you have to keep the mouse pointer on the sliders in the menu screens http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Anyway, welcome to the forums!

Mostly i fly over my city (EPTO - Europe, Poland, Thorn), 5 hours in glider flying and not doing anything is a bit boring, so i make spins, loops, ranvers etc. (i dunno english names of other figures) nearly every flight. So we can count it, i flew about 70 hours alone on thermals, from this 70 hours, 10 i flew really to stay in air (weather) and rest - regional trips + acrobatics. In every flight i make about 5-6 spins (becouse i like them) it makes about 180 spins + trainging spins with istruktor, makes it about 200 spins in my short life.
