Anybody know what the heck "Attempt Stencil Buffer" Means? (This is just an excuse to show this screenshot I think is pretty good.)But I have always been curious about that stencil buffer. How bout it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gifhttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b206/planegeek/splashoct05.jpg

I'll quote from the original IL2 manual (which explains what the terms used in setup mean).

"Attempt stencil buffer: Utilize stencil buffer. The stencil buffer is used to switch over to translucent shadows, etc. It mostly works in 32-bit modes. It usually produces a dramatic drop in frame rate on a number of older video cards. Recommended for GF3."
