New a/c available for Pacific Fighters! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

"In 1935 US Navy made an offer for PZL to build a light carrier-borne aircraft for 'local defence' purposes, i.e. defending the carrier task force. PZL was already developing P.11d, a modified version for Polish Naval Air Squadron, Puck airbase. Since this project was scrapped, the license was sold to Chance-Vought, which built a short pre-production series of this aircraft. These were located in Pearl Harbour in 1941 and were destroyed during the attack. Any information about them was lost, until recently found secret documents allowed us to re-create the probable look of US-built P.11 for US NAVY." http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

you can clearly see that Chance vought did just copy the wing profile from P11 and inverted it for the F4U.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/354.gif

And if you can catch the carrier you're almost guarenteed an easy landing.
