It was some time ago that this review showed up:

http://www.guru3d.com/article/...-joystick-interview/ (http://www.guru3d.com/article/paccus-fluid-head-force-feedback-hawk-joystick-interview/)

Well, unnoticed, for me at least, things have gone ahead and it now looks like this:

A bit too chrommy for me but undoubtedly a nice piece of new hardware, anyway.

Interesting, but yes to shinny for me too.

I'd black matte it instantly

It might make a nice base platform for a modding project http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The video of the guys at gamecon playing with the stick was...disturbing. You put a funky 70's song to it....well you know what I mean.

If something is too shiny or just not the right color, I would put some paint on it without any trouble.
As nice as the design is, I NEED all of my buttons right at my fingertips without moving my hand from the stick.

For some reason MC Hummer's 'Can't Touch this' echoes when I see that video.

Looks like some kind of sexual aid.

I asked them a question on that third video and they responded.

Very Interesting, Is it heavy or actually fastened to the table? I can imagine the hydraulics giving a more realistic fluid motion to effects. Whats the expected release date, and price expectations.

I've been using the Old Microsoft FFB2 for years. As you know their getting long in the tooth.

The Paccus Hawk and Falcon joysticks will be available from september 2010. The Falcon will be a 'light' version of the Hawk without the hydraulic feedback, but with the same smooth hydraulic feeling.
Both joysticks will have two ways to fasten them to the table, so you can control them with one hand if you like.
The prices are not set yet, but we expect retailprices of 389 en 279 at the moment.

At those prices its out of reach for me anytime soon. And with the Button arrangement, I doubt I'd actually like it. But if I tried one, who's to say.

I really struggled yesterday, on not making the inuindo, but I see I didn't have too. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Mount one of these on top of the spin-drier and you probably won't have to worry about your wife or girlfriend interrupting your simming ever again! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
