Sorry if I cause a stir but I am new to this forum so please be easy with me! ;-)

I loved RB2 for its detail where if you flew over the front lines, you could see ground action and actual people charging over the trenches. Also, other sqaudrons would fly on their own missions and it was commonplace to come across recon aircraft or mass dogfights. It was great. As for FB, and I am not complaining, your flight is on its own and will only meet a small force of enemy craft. If I fly all over the front, I meet no-one else unless I strafe an airfield.

Do you think another patch may warrant some other human traffic and action? Do let me know of your thoughts.

Cheers,

CG

I don´t fly campaigns anymore but I think there´s plenty of action both in air & on the ground - it depends on your settings in the conf.ini. - you can adjust it the way you like.

Up to a certain extent.. But yes, getting IL-2 Manager 4.0 from www.checksix-fr.com (http://www.checksix-fr.com) allows you to up the quantity of stuff going on.

There is some action a part the one including your mission. Ground battles do take place, and I love watching tanks firing. As for air activity, it´s true that there is not much..sometimes, some recon airplanes, or transport convoys, but I think that´s about all. I´ve never seen fighter groups or bombing groups that have nothing to do with my own mission.
