Two words: Global Village

Pick a site, any site and buy the expansion from it. They will all happily take your money and let you play the game. Even if you live in the States!

I was not being serious, I figured with current politics it would be obvious, apologies. So anyway here is the post that has me confused.

Today Ubisoft, one of the world€s largest video game publishers, announced the release of the Pe-2 add-on for the critically acclaimed combat flight simulator. Pe-2 is the first in a series of three new content updates exclusively available for download from the ubi.com store and a selection of online retailers from April 28th for a retail price of [FR:14,99 " - UK: 9,99 - Ger: 14,95"].

The little bomber affectionately known as the €œPeshka€ (Pawn) is the most famous Soviet twin-engine bomber of the war. It was to the twin-engines what the IL-2 was to the single-engines. Extremely versatile, the Pe-2 served in virtually any role imaginable: dive- and level bomber, heavy fighter, night fighter, reconnaissance, and more. Over 20 different modifications were produced during the war, with a total of 11,000 built. The Peshka served from the summer of 1941 well into the Cold War, where it received a NATO reporting name €œBuck€.

The add-on also includes the following key features:
Missions (95 Campaign Missions, 5 Single Missions, 5 Multi-Player Cooperative Missions)
New Flyable Aircraft
New Ground Vehicles and Objects

Please be aware that this is not available in the US

Its on the main PF website. Anyone know why they said that if it is really available?

Pretty obvious really. Just like the Complete DVD which Americans need to buy from Canada ... new Maddox products are not being sold or advertised in the US at present but americans are free to buy them offshore if they want to.

Hmmm... could Oleg apply this technique to certain aircraft and ships designed and built by companies that are now under the umbrella of a certain major American defense contractor who shall remain nameless?

Oh, and how about a Solomon Islands map(s) while were at it?

I think this is BECAUSE of the N/G legal complications, and I also think he would not be dumb enough to risk the legal wrath of a US multi-national and the risk it would pose for any future developments in other words they have him by the short and curlies http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Oleg would apply a correct technique ,which would make the defense contractors planes inferior, as this is what they really were. No matter where you look, the Axis planes - German or Japanese were superior in almost every aspect, except numbers, which Yamamoto predicted, and this was the allies only 'saving grace'.

too much speculation will result in thread deletion be sure http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

one speculation i feel may have some truth is Oleg may have been forced into paying such huge royalties on US sales to the previously mentioned US corporation that US release is unviable

Seems silly to be required to pay for the inclusion of the likeness of a plane that is 60years old and way out of production. I don't even know what law would govern that. Sounds like company lawyers with no testicles to me.

Damnit Man no wonder why we haven't received the:
http://static.flickr.com/46/142315379_e9b2f50053_o.jpg

And furthermore N.G. are STILL an american MOney oriented business the last time I checked.
And by the looks of it plenty of this user base would be willing to help with the release of the Avengers http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/crackwhip.gif COCKPIT!

There has GOT to be a way to finesse the AVENGERS http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/crackwhip.gif COCKPIT out of N.G. through cash ! Or 1-C could always pull an "Andy warhol' on 'em and just bypass the whole schpeil. Ya know add a prop blade , change a sheet metal panel here or there, just any minor diff. would bypass these sharty t.m. laws which by this particular nature are mere graphical likenesses. Not performance. Cause how could one judge that/? Oleg has ump-frikken-teen ways outta that. I dunno I just wait for the Man to deliver my pizza. THEN I hand o'er the cash.

S!

P.s.: every time someone says "Avenger" you will be bound to include a " http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/crackwhip.gif" afterwards to denote a sensitive matter! Ex: "blah, blah, Avenger http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/crackwhip.gif blah blah!" Almost sounds like John Wayne! Blah, Blah ,Blah ,Blah.... ,Blah ,Blah, Blah, Blah ,Blah, Blah!

"Whoever claims he has never perceived an oppressive feeling of fear has certainly never been to the front. The prerequisite for bravery is fear, just as the fear of dying and the uncertainty of what follows this earthly existence are the prerequisites for the origin and existence of every religion." No wonder the world hates us. BTW, dude, the British version works fine for US PC's. It's still English. In case you've forgotten, there is no language "American."

Just like: "Hey, I'm american, why do I have to pay Brit VAT taxes"

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Or: "Hey, I'm american, why can't I pay in US dollars, why only in Brit pounds"

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Two examples of what I've read on this forums. Being the centre of the universe appearantly doesn't make you any smarter... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

Coming soon, PM mananger by Nu-Lab Games. Be a leader of a small island full of pen pushers, dentists, and chav's and make your name in history by not listening to anyone who say's your time is up. Also coming, `Invasion Europe 2006 - Battle of the Football Thugs`.

That's whats good about being British. We can take the mick out of ourselfs better than any Johnny Foreigner. Goodnight!

Well you have to be see the bright side of life when your hopeless at sport.England only won the ashes because we were to busy shagging all your women and drinking all your beer(and don`t anybody give me any grief over that last remark because it was mooted by Hale and Pace that, that was the only way England would win)!

Dont blame the thread starter for thinking he's in the center of the universe. He really can't help it.
He obviously missed the true story about Grumman forcing Maddox to pay outrageous money for depicting their product...
Guana boy, let me help you in your world orientation, you're nowhere near the center of the universe, you're on the dark side of the moon...http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gifjust dowload it!
