It's possible on SimHQ, just wondered if it could be done here.

Cheers, MP.

I just bookmark them and save them in my "posts" folder... but considering some of the forum stuff going onlately I could see why you might want to DL some of them.. I don't know... Id like to know the answer to that myself.

That's exactly why I asked BC, would like to know if there is an easy way to do it, any takers?

I think the closest you'll get to achieving this is to use the Firefox plugin 'Scrapbook'. For me this is one of the most useful plugins I've ever installed for firefox.

Load any page into the browser, then right-click on it and 'capture' it with scrapbook. The entire page (along with images and sounds) will be saved in an instant, directly into the scrapbook folder (a bit like an offline favorites folder). You can organize it by placing saved pages into folders.

For a forum thread, just visit and 'capture' every page of the thread and store them in a scrapbook folder. You can then look at these pages anytime and without having an Internet connection active as they are saved offline.

Good for storing tutorials or pages that you don't think will be around forever...

Description off plugin page:-
ScrapBook is a Firefox extension, which helps you to save Web pages and easily manage collections. Key features are lightness, speed, accuracy and multi-language support. Major features are:
* Save Web page
* Save snippet of Web page
* Save Web site
* Organize the collection in the same way as Bookmarks
* Full text search and quick filtering search of the collection
* Editing of the collected Web page
* Text/HTML edit feature resembling Opera's Notes

It's also worth noting that the plugin has an import/export feature, so you can backup your Scrapbook to safeguard against a drive crash or potential format http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
