View Full Version : Can't Find 5th TOMATO !!

09-16-2011, 02:14 PM
I have completed all the missions and game but cannot complete the one shop quest requirement (or whatever it's called) because I cannot locate a 5th Tomato.

I might have sold 1 or 2 early on in the game, not knowing what those items were for (although I don't know for sure whether I did or didn't).
I have found and opened ALL of the Treasure Boxes and ALL the Flags and ALL the Romulus Dungeons.

How and Where Can I obtain 1 more tomato so I can complete that shop quest ?

You can find more tomatoes by looting Pickpockets. There are also some in chests but killing then looting the Pickpockets is the easiest. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Thanks for the extremely prompt reply.
Finally, can you kindly remind me where to find the pickpockets ? OR do you simply mean that I should just pickpocket everyone till I get a tomato ?

Aren't they the group in the North East on the map ?
Sorry for being so dense.
BTW - Great Game although I found the Diagonal Jumps, especially with time constraints, to be more than just a bit challenging (more like ..frustrating !!).
Thanks again

The pickpockets are found in the cities. If you wander around one will come by. You get a notification and you will see them running from you usually to the roofs. You have to kill and then loot them. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Oh Right... Now I remember. They are the one's marked by a Red Padlock (or something like that).
I was thinking of the Guards that dressed more like merc's seen somewhere in the eastern side of the map.

Thanks again.
PS> I have nailed that dude several times throughout the game, but never thought of killing him to get stuff.

Pickpockets show up randomly, but fairly frequently. If one is in the area (you will see a lock on the map) and you are on the ground, they will generally run to you. I have found that the best way to get them is to stand with your back to them until they get right up to you, then turn and stab them with the hidden blade (it saves a long chase). Looting them gets you 500 florins and an item.

If you have the da Vinci disapperance, killing the cultists during those missions may be a better option -- there are more of them and they drop a lot of good things (I don't remember tomatoes specifically -- I have never had problems with them).

Play the thief assignment called 'A Clash of Interests' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-yKzLzUC7U)

If you're playing it for a second time (i.e. you had to start it through the DNA folder) then whilst you're killing the thieves, loot the bodies straight after otherwise you may finish the mission & it will direct you back to the DNA folder.

Not 100% sure if you'd get your tomato but you're still looting thieves here so it's worth a try http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I was 'confused' when I saw this Topic. 'Tomato'??? All those trophies, Assassins, Templar Agents, and you're worried about what you want to cook for Supper?! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Hey, that's a very important decision.

lol. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Nah, but seriously, you should know that the very first Romulus underground Tomb that you go through - has 5 Treasure Chests in it, and in EACH ONE is a Tomato! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blush.gif

Do you think they were for the very same Quest that you might be talking about? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Quck Pro-Quo, never sell what you find, unless it's part of a Quest. http://media.ubi.com/us/forum_images/gf-glomp.gif

Hi, JenC03, W4H1B and Kytr.
I have some doubts about your suggestions.
I have the same problem about tomatoes and here are the facts:
1. You cannot play again the first Romulus background Tomb to get tomatoes, because you already looted the chests the first time, so you will find 'em always empty, apart from the Romulus roll.
2. I played "A clash of interests" 5 times and the pickpockets had a lot of things, but not tomatoes.
3. I looted a huge amount of normal pickpockets around Rome, but they never had tomatoes.
So, what is the real solution for tomatoes ?
Nice problem, isn't it ?
Thanks a lot for any suggestion.

Hi, guys.
I think I fixed the problem with tomatoes.
Instead of wasting time with pickpockets, it's greatly easier accomplish a particular mission in Vienna, called "Raising an army" (5 diamonds of difficulty).
The bonus is attractive, 'cause you obtain 2'500 f + 1 tomato.
