yea, when flying the P-40B in single missions, pearl harbor defence 1 and 2, i get into a stall when turning hard during a dogfight. and the stall involves rapid spinning. and i can't seem to pull out of it, especially when less than 1000 FT altitude. i want to fly as realistic as possible, but i've had to take out the stall when setting difficulty level

The P-40 has a wicked snap-roll to the left at stall, with little warning. When you notice the plane beginning to roll, put out your combat flaps. The only way to keep it from stalling if you continue to manoeuver hard is even more flap, or go nose down and extend. Get to know the plane some more: as long as you keep the speed above 240-250 kmh, it's fine. I often go to full landing flap and retract them when I get nose down right away, but only if I have a good chance of turning with the opponent. It slows you down too much, and you're a sitting duck if there's others or live pilots around you. Against AI offline, it's not such a problem.

Also, stalls happen faster when slipping or skidding so try to keep the ball centered. Easier said than done in a sim.
