Difficulty landing?

Don't land!

....just park it up there.

While any landing you walk away from may be a good landing, I'm not so sure about one where you have to repel out of a tree. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif

There was an accident not long ago - one guy has built himself a Fiesler Storch replica and flew it for second or third time when his engine quit and he was forced to get it down in emergency. He almost made it, but he was five meters long and crashed into the trees at the end of the meadow he choosed for landing. He totaly wrecked the plane, but walked away unharmed. When TV asked him what he will do he said "I am gonna built it again, what did you think?"

Just as an aside - the a/c in the first picture is a powered parachute (PPC) type ultralight - probably the easiest to fly and simplest form of powered a/c ever devised. If you get the chance to try one out go for it (though I would not recommend the tree landing) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
