How about something for the Falklands...Sea Harriers, Mirages, Daggers, C-130's, Vulcans, Victor tankers for inflight refueling. Nothing has been done on that, I know it is a small conflict but it could be a good one!

Oleg said he'd be using the BoB engine to make games for WW2, but I really want to see another Korean war FS.

I didn't come up with this idea myself. I read about how Fighter Ops was doing training in their game and it sounds very interesting. Also, USAF by Janes had a great training portion although it used regular active planes throughtout the process.

What I want to see is a free or small cost or full price if need be..downloaded well polished add-on that delves into training how to fly these planes. I don't mean one where you are in the cockpit of active duty war planes and some bodiless voice tells you what button does what. Or tells you how to approach a landing, but even if you come in way too steep or fast, you get a passing grade as long as you set it down.

I want a whole role play made out of the training process where you show up as some young and dumb boot wanna be pilot and learn how to fly in your respective airforce/navies training program such as:

Primary Flight School (http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/history/wwii/pfs.htm)

Pass that and go to

Basic Flight School (http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/history/wwii/bfs.htm)

and the to

Advanced Flight School (http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/history/wwii/afs.htm)

At least a training program that trains you how to fly in trainers like Ryan PT22 (http://www.warbirdalley.com/articles/PT-22-aerial-01-comp.jpg) instead of full out war planes. Gonna be a bomber pilot? Practice on the Jeep (http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/modern_flight/mf15.htm) !

Why do we have such a small community in flight sims? Because people get frustrated too easily....BECAUSE the learning curve is too high for someone fresh to the scene AND very little is done to ease that learning curve other than dumbing down the game.

I want a real training process that explains everything and makes it fun to learn how to fly in the game. Not some watered down lame excuse voice over that the computer flies while the bodiless voice explains what is happening.

Butonga- "What I want to see is a free or small cost or full price if need be..downloaded well polished add-on that delves into training how to fly these planes."

This is a great idea, its hard to learn the basics simply by reading texts and watching demos. Far better would be a training program that ensured the fundamentals were in place.

Mmmm im with han freak solo on this one,

I would love to see the Med properly represented. North Africa, Malta, Italy...think of the possibilities.

If a total change in direction is favoured then WW1 would be way cool to do as well.
Nothing has come close to Sierra's Red Baron 3D that was released many moons ago.

Hmmmm showing my senility a tad now http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
