Have any of you tried this set of drivers particularly with a geforce 3 and played Il-2? I keep getting a message at startup saying it cannot find any hardware and some files have been deleted/ /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif Just wondering.

When I nuked my old display drivers it took my sound drivers with it. How? Well I dont understand how that happened but after I installed the 45.23 I also had to reinstall my audigy drivers.

I still cant work out why but its kindof m00t as it was easy enough to rectify.

PS are display drivers now linked in some way to sound drivers or is it just one of those days again?

Really? Damn, guess that might be worth a shot, thanks.

I doubt the drivers are linked.

Hello

I am using the dirvers at present and find them excellent!
with my GF3 TI 500.

I did not experience any sound problems during or after installation, and the new Nvidia drivers work with DX or Open GL and with beta patch V1.1.

improoved picture quality and I think I get another 5 fps increase.

no problems yet!

You should be able to use the drivers from the Nvidia site, my card is a Visiontek but I use them, they even suggest to use them /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Just use the Nvidia drivers. Brand has nothing to do with the chipset. Manufacturers just add things to the Nvidia drivers to make them their own. You will lose some of the Aopen controls, but trust me, you won't have a problem.
