yes the airbrakes on the stuka works you can also use the bomb alt to set when the plane would pull back up

Could you elaborate? I know the Ju-87 had an automatic device that would pull the aircraft out of a dive without stick input from the pilot, somewhere around 1800'. Can this be activated in Il-2?

Horrido!

Haven't really flown the Stuka much but I find if I press the button I have bound to it say using a 109 then the stick goes all limp. Could be because its set on one of my joystick buttons and if the plane doesn't have the air brake then its getting confused.

Still I'm not too fused was just interested in slowing the plane faster for landing as I always seem to come in a little fast.

its implemented in Forgotten Battles' latest patch. with the bombsight altitude buttons you calibrate the altitude in which the diving autopilot pulls the plane out of the dive. i first didnt know it was adjustable, and found it very disturbing, since i dive pretty low and place the bomb onto my target /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

and, diving brakes arent very useful on landing approaches, i tell you /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif . and also theres the problem that your plane gets nose-heavy.
also, no idea why your joystick starts b!tching.
