View Full Version : Me-262 or Go-229 can take any!

Take a deep breath before you read this. Do it. Anyways, I strongly believe that the Me-262 A-1 Schwalbe or the Go-229 could shear any aircraft that served during WWII to H#ll under the grasp of a skilled pilot of course.

Three reasons for this:

1) It was quite easy to obtain the element of surprise with either jet due to superior speed. (fly off aways, then strike from the sun.
2) Extreme firepower. With the spread effect, makes it even better.
3) Advanced aerodynamic design made either jet surprisingly agile at such high speeds.

WOW! So you mean to say that a Me-262 sitting on the ground, could just say "kill" to that La-7 getting ready to strafe him, and it'd blow up?

Now come on folks. I meant once the jet was in tha air and well up to speed. But could you imagine what them German Aircraft Researches (GAR) would have come up with had the war lasted another 2 years or so. Fortunatly for us that was not the case.

Take nothing for granted, that way
you live life at its fullest.

Doesn't bother me at all. However, it can be a bit dangerous. People have been banned for it.

yea, if you can get the 262 airborn without getting vulched (no fun, even tho its historical) you own the skies.

I mean, if your good. If your really . . sharp, you can engage only when you damn well want to engage, and aint nobody gonna be able to say a damn thing about it.

However. If you engage, and the target manages to force a head on pass . . . sure, your 30 millies will destroy him, but the odds are better that 70% that you finish the pass with an engine fire or two.

The plane is awesome, but its so damned fragile.

I enjoy flying it . . . the sound those engines make is to die for . . . especially the doppler shift at 850km/h. THAT is something to hear. And that is what most of my targets hear.
