Hi guys

I started a long ago a German South Fighter Campaign just from the beginning of the war and yesterday as i flew my 174th mission in June 1943 i was badly wounded. My screen turned red and i could barely control the plane so when i managed to get into friendly territory i just bailed out as i couldn't risk an emergency landing with a plane that behave like a flying brick.

The debriefing said that i was hospitalized and rejoined my squadron in April 1944 (wow almost a year out of service)in the Crimea Map.

I received my new plane as expected, completed the mission with 3 kills and.......the war ended as i was again wounded !!!

The problem is that nobody got at my six so how could i be wounded, i reflew the mission thinking that maybe some flak struck me... but got the same result, wounded and GAME OVER.

HOW is this posible, is there a limit in the number of mission you can fly (i flew 175 missions), as far as i know the war ended in Europe in mid 1945 (don't remember the exact date sorry :-() what happened to the remaining months of the war ??

Please share your experience with this offline campaign .

Good flight to you !

Hi,

months ago I´ve launched the same campaign- congrats!

I flew abaout 222 missions and I shot down down about 1078 planes.

I missied only 9 missions because of getting wounded.(pre-ratch)

Now I´m in 1st march 1945 with approximately 19 missions left. >war will be finished in april 45 (German South Fighter Campaign)!

Each scenario in the German South Fighter Campaign has 30 missions.

I dont know, but I believe=>
I think u have been wounded badly and the patch solves this problem like in real life with a long absence.

Pre-patch: I´ve been woundet badly in the last mission of the scenario(crimea 41 #1) and returned to my squad at the very next day(crimea 41 #2).

Hi Kama

I'm sorry i forgot to tell you that i haven't applied the patch yet (i don't intend to until sound and track recording bugs are fixed).

So the problem isn't the patch, i agree that if i'm badly wounded my absence could take several month, but i don't understand why the campaign progress says 100 % complete even if the last mission flown was in June 1944 and i tried that last mission four times and in all of them i was never chased by any enemy plane so it's imposible to receive any shots.

This is not a mayor concern for me is just a shame (my score was 768 downed planes, that is 4.4 planes per mission les than your 4.8 /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif ...lol), i will continue another campaign i just started with the Russian Bomber or start one of the campaign i downloaded from the web (any suggestion ?).

Good flight to you !

Methinks you need to ramp up the difficulty, if your getting that many kills!

Wow!
