I'm going to take my son to this muesum next Wednesday. But I am the one getting the treat!! Look at the fighters!

BF-109 G10 (Which I am the most excited about)
P-40
P-38
P-51
Spit XVI

Not to mention the Spruce Goose, a B-17, and a whole slew of other planes!

Anyone been here before? Is it a good muesum? Can you get real close? I wonder if I could get my pic taken in the BF-109 if I make a donation? You think they would get mad if I sat in it nekkid?

WOO HOO!!

Crash, you are in for a treat. The museum is very good, hell even the building for the Goose is impressive in itself. That is one large aircraft. I was there in June along with my long-suffering wife. (We had spent the previous day at the Boeing museum in Seattle).
When we were there you couldn't sit in the 109 unfortunately, (nekkid or otherwise) but you may be able to sniff it when no-one is looking. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
Here are some pics....

the only bad news is that as of last weekend, the a-26 invader is still across the street getting fixed up.

I'm new to WWII aircraft. Especially German. The only thing I really know about them is what Oleg teaches me.

So, I look at the tail wheel on that G-10, and I tell myself "thats not a G-10, thats a G-14!"

Am I going insane?
