I can`t control the mix manually now.

Thus mix is set to 100% constantly and I run out of fuel very quickly.

Anybody knows how to control mix?

Rgr - I'm experiencing the same thing. I figured it was just because of the early model 109 I was flying (E7/B) - guess you can't control it on all 109s?

So far from what i've tried. Fuel mix doesn't work on the 109, 190, P-47, P-39, Hurri. I just tried the Yak/La7, and it works on those.

Don't beta testers use fuel mix?

I might have been auto in real life, but here it`s just wasting fuel.Emil can hardly go 50km and return.

It might have been manual on early 109's, but now you feel why during BOB, the german 109 pilots were terified about crossing, a 40km channel, adding the alt,rtb-ing and afterall, fighting...

i always thought the german planes didn't have carburators but direct fuel injection, ergo no mixture control.

No it was actually more meant as a question. I just forgot the question mark.

It is my recollection that there was no pilot control over fuel mixture in Bf109s. As pointed out the engine had direct fuel injection and the mix was automatically adjusted.

109 pilots would conserve fuel by running at low RPM with coarsened prop pitch. If you run balls to the wall with the prop govenor on you will run dry very very quickly.
