That would be the heavily modified V2 which got another V number i think. It got small wings, was enlarged and a pilot added. It could reach America. Of course this was something of a suicide trip for the pilot, but nobody seemed to care since there was no other way of precisely guiding a rocket that far.

But i havent spotted anything like that in the planelist for the '46 (Dr. Strangelove) addon, could you please point me to it?

And btw i think he meant that old Russian biplane that has really no resemblance to a V2. At least not one i could think of.
And i think you misread Y2, because he didn't misspelled it. I am certain he comes from Russia and there the U2 is written as Y2.

And it will most certainly not in the game, because somebody started to model it once but didn't finish it. And RRG Studios or Olegs Crew will not finish it either. So not in Il-2.

Is it better to download patches and such or buy the disk? What are you alll going to do? I just want the game to work. Thanks.

If he really means the U2/Po-2 then yes this will eventually be in the BoB engine sim. RRG have said they are working on this plane for a future BoB addon. But it will sadly never make it to IL-2 where it belongs.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
