If you have a good frontal photo of yours scanned, just load it into a graphics program and grab a perfect square around your face, from forefront to chin -be sure to have it well centered. Then paste your face to a new image, and resample it to 128x128.

Load one of the image of pilots that are in the FB pilots folder. Grab you face from the previous image and paste it over the pilot photo that is in the down left corner of the skin image.

Make sure the resultant pic is a *.bmp 256 colors, 8 bit. Then save it in the pilots folder with the name you choose.

In FB Quick Mission Builder, choose the pilot skin with your name. And voilĂ , if you choose an external view and zoom on your cockpit, you'll see yourself as the pilot.

Really funny. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

On the TX website (as well as in your FB folder), there are some custom pilot skins. If you open them up, you can see the dimensions and how the profile should be cropped before being placed in you pilot skins folder.

There are 2 specific files in the Pilot directory that are to be used with either PSP or Photoshop. They have little circles over where your eyes should line up and a mouth line as well.
Just take your picture and properly size it until these areas match up, then paste your pic into the image. Next, open up the Layer menu and remove the 2 eye circles and the mouth line and you should be all set.
Or you can just do it the easy way, eyeball it, then slap your pic in there. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
