I start a mission with big intentions to be patient, choose targets carefully and spend a week or so on patrol.

But I find I am constantly interrupted by the wife, make rash decisions (eg. speed up time compression during attack) and end up being sunk.

Does anyone else have this problem?

sounds to me like you have it as real as it gets.. real uboat captains experienced same difficulties on patrol.. wounded crew members making noise, occasionally they'd have people loose their nerves and try to get out of the boat while submerged (like in das boot), extreme heat or lack of oxygen could also make u loose concentration.. i'm sure there were many more distractions..

My suggestion is next time you are under attack fire your wife from the tubes. When the allies catch her the constant nattering will ruin their aim, then you will be free to raid the convoys forever!

Morgoth2005, we sail on the same boat (not counting the times I have to pause games as my dog calls...)

It's because that I strongly wish a system allowing savegames at any times.

Being a lawyer, I could arrange a divorce by myself but... I'm really a poor cook.

Sometimes, when the phone ring your only option is to (first make sure it isn't the alarm http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif ) and then run to answer it while you cross your fingers hoping that no plane appears just in that moment.
