Does anyone notice any change after putting these lines at the end of conf.ini file of Il-2 FB????
I'm not sure if there are any "targets of chance" of something like that.These are the last lines of my conf.ini file.Is everything ok with it?I would like to have similar opportunities to find some trains transport columns and other objects ,as well as planes, similarly to what was implemented in the wonderful classic 1943:European air War.

LandGeom=2
TexLarge=1
TexLandQual=3
TexLandLarge=1

VideoSetupId=8
AirIntensity=High
GroundIntensity=High

If anyone can help me with that-please do ithttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I use IL2 Manager to alter these settings in IL2:FB and it's seems to induce a noticible effect

I use Il-2 manager alsa,but i'm not sure if it really works.Are there any ,let's say,accidental targets,not only in the area of player's mission and nearby?

It definitely increases the air and ground activity between your airfield and your target, also resulting in notable frame rate hits. It does not however add 'targets of opportunity' in areas that you would not be flying in if you are attempting to accomplish your main objectives.

Try this, it worked for me...not saying it is necessary, but worth a try:

Insert the title [campaign] before making the adjustments. IOW, each section has a title in the config file; give the campaign it's own section at the end ( as above, title it [campaign] ), then see if it makes a difference.

Hope that helps.

Hi

Yes it works, when i first installed FB i had those terrible stutters (still do but only in the gulf of finland map), someone told me that this modification would ease the cpu and ram workload (decreasing the number of objects to track).

I only made the GroundIntensity=Low modification and it helped a lot with stutters...but i miss the joy of shredding lonely trains or transport columns...

Good flight to you !

Nonsense, I verified the joints twice!: This was the answer given by chief Mechanic Klaus Stoeffel to Oberst Lotar Von M├╝llenbrock when he complained about some strange vibrations in the wings of his Me-262 during take off. This picture show that Oberst Von M├╝llenbrock's fears were in fact quite real.

If you apply these lines in the conf.ini when you alredy has began a campaign, you will have to wait until you are finish with the first mission.

In other words the next mission in the campaign will give you feedback of the changes.

Those settings work. I just edited the conf.ini in notepad. I use air set to medium, ground at high, and random flights at 3. This gives a degree of unpredictability to the missions and lots of targets of oppertunity.
