The DVD not auto-running happens in all OS.
Explore the DVD and run a.exe in the root or one of the autorun.exe you find in the numbered directories. Under Vista do this by right-clicking and run as Administrator. Best install it somewhere other than under /Program Files/ - c:/Games/ for example. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

yep - sounds like M$. They stopped production years ago. I don't know if they still support their joysticks.
Pity realy. They are very good joysticks.
You might not need a driver though. Maybe it works under native vista support. You could also try to install under XP compatibility mode.

El-Clampy, PLEASE tell me what you did!! I just installed Vista 64 bit and I cannot get the forces working and the whole stick gets limp after a while. I mainly play Aces High but IL2 is also on my list.

Like i said, game installed fine wen you go run it from the setupfile "a" by browsing the disk, but the game wont start, i solved it by downloading a noDVD patch because the problem was the SecuRom protection on the disk, its not compatible with Vista 64bit.

Hello guys!

What's a "native driver in Vista"?

And, the Force Feedback 2 should work fine because Flight Simulator X works with Vista and the Force Feedback 2 is recommended by FSX.

A native driver is one that is part of the OS or comes on the OS installation cd/dvd
In general if it is natively supported yu don't need to install drivers. Like USB harddrives e.g.
