I'm still looking for the fuel indicator in the cockpit (IL2 for example)...? Where is it?
And how can I have a vocal chat during a dogfight... : tape a dot in message text and after...???

the russian fuel indicator is an orange dot with the amount of fuel remaining over the top, needle to the right = full and left = empty. on the il-2 3M, for example, its in the lower left part of the instruments, just left of the stick on the bottom row. hope that helps

get Roger Wilco for chatting in games, you are way more dangerous in pair and fours/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Yes thanx, that helps me for fuel : I was surprised to see how slow is the decreasing of this orange indicator during a flight even I never fly for a very long time /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
So, if Roger Wilco is the only solution, I must take it but if you don't know the persons who play with you... they can't switch on the same channel and you can't chat with them... I believed a intern chat system did exist on all the game versions...

The fuel guage only registers up to 300 litres. Some aircraft carry as much as 700 litres with full tanks, so you'll be over half empty before the guage starts to go down if you start with 100% fuel.

RogerWilco is one of many solutions. Few use the built in voice comms, but they do work (I've heard). Apart from RogerWilco, there's also Teamspeak, Teamsound, Gamevoice, Ventrilo, Battlecom and others in the way of 3rd party comms software. I recommend you find out what those you're flying online with use and ask them where to buy/download it (most are a free download but one or two you have to pay for).

Note also that the fuel indicator shows liters remaining to a max of 300l, so you won't see the gauge move until you have less than that.
