Tempest gunsight isnt affected like is 109 gunsight, why? if you turn hard in 109, gunsight (the reflected gross in it) moves much, but in Tempest, there isnt almost no moving at all, why there is such difference?

is the tempest pilot using belts? and 109 isnt?
or is the pilot of the 109 having belts no tight??
or is this again one point where we can see kind of BIAS http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif it can be taken so, but i think its because of FM or tempest, or game code with tempest in other ways. or just lazyness with its cockpit modelling. all planes arent using the same rules. test it yoruself, i cannot provide tracks, you can test it as fast as you look the track, so you could understand what i mean. take first 109 or P51, bank and jink the stick, then do the same with tempest, miracale. gunsight is quite static. :P

actyally, there isnt even reflector glass modeled in tempest.. there for sure is somethign wrong, im using nvidia 6800GT graph card, 2 GB of DDR400 with 3GB CPU. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

I think it has to do with your depth perception

The Tempest's gunsight is displayed directly on the windscreen, while the 109's is not- that Tempest didn't have a reflector http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

It moves...but there are two differences I can thing of.

1) The "reflector" is the windscreen which is substantially bigger. This was a modification by test and combat pilot Roland Beamont. They modified the reflector to project directly onto the windscreen making aiming, particularly strafing ground targets, easier with an unobstructed vision.

2) The 109s cockpit was very small and known for its cramped size. The Tempest pilot sits much further away from the gunsight in terms of where the pilots head in the game is. So the perspective is different and less affected. If you look at the sides of the cockpit when you manuever hard...you see the same shifting you do in a 109...but with the gunsight so far away its less of an issue.

This is largely a matter of scalling in the game I think. I'm sure you had the ability for the 109s pilot to fully rest his head on the back of the seat the gunsight would be similar...that said, at least you can see out the back in most 109s http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

See it reaches the point where it seems that people are actively looking for things to whine about.
