If those of you that were going to download my Sakai Campaign from FL were a little disappointed by the timing of their server transfer, not to worry. I just finished uploading it to airwarfare.com, and it is listed already.

FB campaign page at airwarfare.com (http://airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_campaigns.htm#051)

Hi Browning, I downloaded this campaign when you first released it and have gotten thru about 11 missions. I admit that I skip alot of waypoints and sometimes even end the mission probably before I should but that's due to time constraints.

What is different about this version and should I download it? Also, thanks for the hard work!!

Regards,

Sledge,

On 2.0 the major change is in the briefings. I added more information on altutude and headings, so that one could nearly fly the missions without radio navigation. The missions are the same, and in the same order. I tweaked only a couple of the missions that either had an objective that didn't make sense, or to deconflict aircraft routes etc.

The other change is the token appearance of the J2M3 (player flown) in a test flight mission. In the first version I had to use a Ki-84. I didn't want to, but now that the J2M is a flyable aircraft, that has been changed.

If you have 4.03m, I would just download 2.0 and copy the 2.0 Version of the "Saburo_Sakai" folder over the first version. Your campaign will not be affected except in the sense that your next mission will be from 2.0.

Update: Sakai_Campaign2.0 is now on airwarfare.com (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_campaigns.htm#051) and flying-legends.net (http://www.flying-legends.net/php/downloads/listings.php?cat_id=28). If you have downloaded the campaign already, leave a short comment or two so I can improve future campaigns.

Flying legends is back up! Stop by.
