View Full Version : distant textures are darker?

I've notice this strange problem with my setup that may be a driver related issue or possibly a 3D settings issue. I don't have a picture of the problem handy but I can make one later tonight.

The issue is that distant ground textures are of a darker/deeper color than the closer textures. It's almost like the Mip-maps were created with two different textures.

Has anyone reported a problem like this before and if so what was the solution?

I am not sure here, but can you not adjust the settings for this, i seem to remember that it can be tweaked for higher cards, the reasoning being that on a lower card you do not want to be updating the whole scenery but just that closest to the aircraft, I hope someone who may know will chip in here.

is it not something to do with visibility distance or mesh or the land ones or the like in the config, see
