View Full Version : Florence Baptistry

Hi, everybody.
Last year I finished to play AC2 and now I'm to finish AC3 also.
There's one thing I'm wondering since a long time about the historical context and design of the game.
I recognize the fantastic and precise work behind it and I appreciate it a lot as a history student, but I'd like to know one thing about Florence.
One "error", but negligible, is that the distance between Duomo and Palazzo della Signoria is much shorter than in reality.
But, above all, does anyone know why Ubisoft creators did not design the Baptistry (built some centuries before the game time) in front of Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore ?
Is there any particular reason for that ?
Thanks for any useful info.
Just for curiosity.

AC3 hasn't been released yet.

As for the baptistery, I suspect the answer is simply a case of there being not enough room to fit it.

Hi, Abeonis.
Maybe it's like you wrote, but it's strange, because Rome is greater than Florence and nothing is missing.
So I'm curious about the real reason for that.
Thanks as well.

Hi, Abeonis.
I forgot a particular thing.
For me AC3 is Brotherhood, 'cause it's the third episode of the series.
